The General Plan Update is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of Trinity County. Through this process, the County and its consultants (General Plan Team), with input from the public and stakeholders, will consider new, pertinent topics, such as climate change and resiliency, environmental justice, and public health, to ensure Trinity County is positioned to achieve its vision for the future.
As the Update progresses, this website will be a primary source for information. Please check back regularly for drafts of project documents and opportunities to engage in the Update process – including dates and times of events and meetings.
Public Review Draft Environmental Impact Report
The Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is available for public review! Prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Draft EIR evaluates potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed General Plan Update. The analysis addresses a broad range of topics, including air quality, biological and cultural resources, greenhouse gas emissions, water quality, land use, transportation, public services, utilities, wildfire, and cumulative impacts.
Send us your comments!
